Children's events

There will be lots of V-Bay events for children on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th October around the town and on the beach. These will include:

Community Café in Albert Street: story-telling, mask-making and face-painting.

Sea Breeze Park, East Cliff (by the Winter Gardens): The Big Children’s Picnic Bring your lunch and be entertained by the Wight Pirates at 1pm on Saturday.

Around the Town Centre: Throughout Saturday and Sunday Strolling musicians will be playing around the town centre.

Seafront: A traditional Punch & Judy Show by Randini at 2pm on Sunday. Oh yes there is!

Paddling Pool (by the Cascade on the Eastern Esplanade): take part in a mini “Round the Island Boat Race” sponsored by ‘Paddingtons’ toy and model shop on Saturday and Sunday.

Eastern Esplanade beach: There's treasure to be dug up on Saturday and Sunday!

Around the Town Centre: the pirate window spot competition runs from the start of V-Bay on 21st and runs all half term week until Saturday 30th. Entry forms can be collected from Bizzy Lizzy's at 25 Pier Street (corner with Albert Street).

Around the town: The great Galleybagger Pirate Competition, make your own pirate, don a pirate uniform and bring him/her to the Winter Gardens at 10am on Saturday 23rd to meet the Wight Pirates for the Great Galleybagger Pirate Parade. Loads of Treasure and fun to be had (me hearties!)
